Extended Families

2009-11-05 - 12:22 a.m.

Lines between life and work are nearly entirely blurred right now. I had a long day but not a bad one. Meghan is staying here and it has been fun hanging out. I had a few student meetings and had a nice return to the office. People welcomed me back even though I had only been out a few days. It just felt nice. My union is my home. Of course, meeting with my favorite students never hurts a day either. That said, I worked from 8:30 am until 9:30 pm, and continued to do a little work once home too. It is what it is. Mostly, it's fun. I really should sleep instead of thinking more about it though. I have a meeting in eight hours downtown, and I have a whole night's sleep, a shower and a commute before that.
