Fifty-Eight Minute Flight

2009-11-30 - 10:51 p.m.

Well, I'm back in Chicago. After the past week, it's hard to know if I should call it home. There's something about Minneapolis that will always appeal to me, even if I never move back. At this point, it is hard to imagine a path that takes me there. Now I have to refocus on my life here. On a job I need to learn to do without getting quite so tired. On people who I know and forget about, and people who I don't know but should. Within 48 hours, I'll barely remember what vacation feels like anyway.

"If you waste your time a-talkin to the people who don't listen to the things that you are saying who do you think's gonna hear?"
